I'd like to give overall congratulations to the orgainsation of this year's event, in particular the rescuers (I should know as I was a recipient of their very swift actions, particularly at Palmerstown Weir!) 

However, I cannot let this opportunity by but to be very critical of the parking marshals at Isalandbridge.  They allowed cars to park 3 deep, therby blocking in the middle cars.  Organising is not rocket science, after all.  This is a small complaint for an otherwise professionally organised event, but I feel it needed mention and perhaps can be tackled for next year.

Anyway, regarding organisation and parking.   I would like to thank everyone for the great organisation (AGAIN).  As usual a huge amount of work was put in by the organisers and volunteers.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. It was just as professionally run as previous years.

My only problem was I left my meal ticket at the campsite and was politely refused a meal at the finish which is exactly how it should be. 

Professionally rescued AGAIN at Palmerstown, thank you rescuers (I swear I made a number of attempts to roll back up) and the First Aid team at Palmerstown too who looked after the small cut on my foot.  Also thank you for the chocolate from the female rescuer, it was just what was needed to cheer me up.

Sorry, I did say I'd mention the parking.  It was perfect.  I got to Islandbridge at 10:30am and had no problem parking right beside the club house.
