Hi, Just want to know if you need to be a member of a club or if there is a required standard or grade needed to enter the decent.

Regards Declan

The date for 2011 is September 11th.

I suggest you contact the office of the Irish Canoe Union canoe rental/hire. They may be able to assist. You can find their contact details at http://canoe.ie/Information/Aboutth...fault.aspx

I would like to compete with my 12 year old son in two-person sit-on type craft. Would we be excluded either because of his age or because of the type of craft?

I would suggest that you contact the Irish Canoe Union for a ruling on this. You can email them at office@canoe.ie or phone on +353 1 6251105
